Wonder no more. Alice H. Murray is living the dream of being a writer. With her red hair, she grew up aspiring to be the next Brenda Starr. Instead, she went to law school and ended up being an adoption attorney with a passion for writing. What does she write? Well, what DOESN'T she write? Alice's first book, The Secret of Chimneys, was released by End Game Press on April 4, 2023, with a second book coming April 2025 also from End Game Press. An adoption devotional of hers is scheduled for publication by Iron Stream Media in October 2025. Alice regularly contributes articles to GO! Magazine and pens devotionals for traditional publications such as The Upper Room and various online sites. She's also had pieces published in Chicken Soup for the Soul and the Short and Sweet series. Her wondering mind compels her to write a weekly blog post, WONDER-ing Woman, on topics of current interest peppered with remarks from her snarky sense of humor. Alice's goal in writing? LAUGH
The iconic Reader's Digest includes a section called "Laugher, The Best Medicine." The June 2024 issue contains a joke Alice submitted for that column. Check it out on page 38. (HINT: The joke has to do with noodles.) Alice also aims to post a "funny" each day on social media. It's the place you need to go to smile--or perhaps groan. Alice writes a weekly blog as WONDER-ing Woman. She addresses current news stories and topics from a humorous point of view, allowing her readers to learn what's happening in the world in an enjoyable and entertaining way. In a recent post, Alice drew on her legal experience to explain and discuss the Ohio Supreme Court’s “say what?” decision that “boneless” chicken wings can reasonably be expected to contain bones.
