Where's Alice?
When she’s not writing, Alice participates in activities related to her writing such as appearing at book signings, entering wriiting contests, and attending/teaching at writers conferences. In the past few weeks, she’s done the following:
Book Award
In late November, Alice received notification that her book, God Adopted Us First: Faith Lessons From An Adoption Attorney's Adventures, had been named a finalist in the devotional category of the Christian Indie Publishing Awards. Winners will be announced in March 2026.
Book Selling
Alice appeared at the Base Exchange at Eglin Air Force Base in December to sell books, talk to people about writing, and to spread holiday cheer. Books make great gifts at Christmas and other occasions.
Talking on a Podcast
In January, Alice appeared on Sandra Flach's Adoption & Foster Care Journey podcast. She discussed her experiences leading her to write her adoption devotional, God Adopted Us First: Faith Lessons From An Adoption Attorney's Adventures, as well as her views about the connection between faith and adoption.
